Children and Dogs

I will soon be starting kid's classes, where children can come along and be educated on how to approach and interact with dogs safely.

This is a very important subject that is not being addressed enough in the dog world and with this in mind I look forward to starting these classes initially in Farnborough Village but I am more than happy to work with schools and nursery’s in different areas, where I can visit with one of my dogs and give an educational talk to children of all ages.

The children will all get hands on experience with one of my own dogs on how to approach, interact and walk the dog in a correct manner. This is a vital piece of education, as most children do not know the correct procedure in approaching dogs and some approach dogs that are not child friendly which leads to all types of problems.

The children who attend these classes will build on their confidence around dogs and it is common knowledge concerning the benefits of children growing up with dogs.
