Where to find a Dog
There are so many dogs now packed into animal rescue centres that believe me, the dog you need is out there.
Choosing the right dog can be difficult as there are so many factors to consider and it's important to find the right dog to suit your lifestyle, home and energy. With this in mind I have started a new service for people trying to find a dog, where I will go with you to a dog rescue centre and carefully match you with the rescue dog best suited to you.
For my standard consultancy fee, I will do the following:
- Initial phone consultation where we talk about your lifestyle, home and energy and the best dog suited to you
- We then contact your rescue centre of choice and arrange a home visit by their staff
- Together we will then visit the rescue centre and I will mindfully advise you regarding the right dog for you; bear in mind that there will probably be more than one dog that suits you and respectfully the final choice is yours, after I have given you my final thoughts
- I will then show you how to best transport the dog home in a calm manner, after we have gone for an initial walk
- Finally when we arrive back at your home it is very important that we then take your new dog for another walk and I will then guide you through the correct procedure on how to introduce your new dog to other family members and your home in general
This carefully thought out procedure that I plan, makes sure that you have every chance to then enjoy a new and wonderful relationship with the new dog in your life.
